RESEARCH INTERESTS
  Research interests include the fusion of data from NDT devices using statistical models and repeatability information and devlopment of algorithms that incorporate such models and information.

  • “A Simple Method for Determining Modulus of Base and Subgrade Materials” – S. Nazarian, D. Yuan, R. R. Williams
  • Paper presented in summer 2002 at symposium for Resilient Modulus Testing for Pavement Components in Salt Lake City.

Use of NDT Devices

  • Seismic Pavement Analyzer (SPA)
  • Portable Seismic Pavement Analyzer (PSPA)
  • Falling Weigh Deflectometer (FWD)

Other Projects

  • Testing of delaminated bridge decks in Midland, Texas using PSPA.
    Report written and submitted to Texas Department of Transportation.
