Hot Mix Asphalt Testing with MTS |

Research Assistant Jan 2002 to Present
Evaluated the Simple Performance Tests (SPTs) ability to predict moisture susceptibility of Environmental Conditioning System (ECS) conditioned hot mix asphalt concrete (HMAC) using MTS machine. Activities include preparing asphalt concrete specimens, testing, and drafting results. The project was funded by National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP). Worked on asphalt binder testing procedures like DSR, Rotational Viscometer, and BBR. Had a strong knowledge of Superpave Mix Design procedure and experience in testing with Hamburg Wheel Tracking Device.
